Orange

OrangeFree sim cards from Orange offer a fantastic range of benefits. If you’re looking for just a free sim card just to get started that’s fine as you can add a plan on to it at a later date. However if you order the sim card and top it up with £10 straight away then there are some fantastic pay as you go plans on offer.

If you choose Dolphin then your £10 gets you 300 texts and free internet. Then of course you still have your £10 credit which you can spend on calls. Standard calls to Orange mobiles, UK landlines and other mobile phones cost just 25p a minute.

The Pay As You Go Monkey Plan offers unlimited free music on your phone when you top up by £5 a month plus 25 texts. For £10 a month you receive 400 free texts and a free daily internet pass plus the credit that you have paid for to make phone calls.

DolphinThe Camel plan is for those who like to phone abroad as it includes 60 free international minutes when you top up by £10. You do not receive any internet or texts with this plan but call costs are slightly cheaper at 20p per minute and texts at 10p each. Also if you were to use up your free international minutes then calls to landlines and mobile phones abroad start at 10p a minute.

With the Orange Racoon pay as you go plan it’s simple – you get low cost calls. If you top up by £10 a month your calls to other Orange mobiles, other networks and landlines cost just 12p per minute. Many networks can be quite expensive when it comes to phoning 0800, 0845 or 0870 numbers but with the Racoon plan 0800 is at 7p per minute 0845 and 0870 at 12p per minute.

Wait a minute! So now you have decided on which plan you want there is even more benefits with Orange pay as you go sim cards. Orange allows you to top up with as little as 10p if you use a swipe card or an e-voucher. As anyone who goes to the cinema will know you can receive 2 for 1 cinema tickets with Orange Wednesdays.

More InfoYou can also choose Magic Numbers. For 20p you can talk for up to an hour to 3 different friends who are on the Orange network – you only pay for the first minute. Did you know that for every £10 you top up with Orange you receive £1 which is then put aside and can be used towards the cost of a brand new phone? And finally if you were to run out of credit you can set up the Reserve Tanks with Orange. This is like a mobile overdraft which gives you an extra £2.50 of credit.

O2

O2 SimplictyWith O2 Simplicity pay and go sim cards you can keep your phone, keep your number and keep it simple. There is no monthly contract and you can change your allowance every 30 days. O2 Pay as you go sim cards have top up plans starting from £7.50 a month.

O2 has a scheme called Priority Moments which is available with pay as you go sim cards. Not only does it give you the opportunity to be the first to receive tickets at events at the O2 arena you can also receive discounts at your favourite retailers. For example you can get 50% off the 2 top selling books of the week at WHSmith and ever 15% off O2 accessories. There are also discounts to be had at other stores and restaurants like Pizza Hut, Little Chef, Harvey Nichols, JJB sports and many more.

O2 Free Sim CardsIf you choose the £7.50 free sim card plan you will receive unlimited texts. For the £10.50 monthly top up you can receive either 500 texts and 100 minutes to any network or you can have unlimited texts and 100mb of internet. The more you top up the more any network minutes and internet you will receive. Top up plans increment at £7.50, £10,50, £15.50, £16.50 and £21.50 as shown below.

T-Mobile

T-MobileT MobileT-Mobile offer free sim cards but a much better deal is to get a pre-loaded sim for £10. This works similar to the Flexible Booster that they offer with pay monthly 30 day and 12 month plans. With T-Mobile Pay as you go you can choose from 3 different options. You can choose either 100 free UK minutes, 60 free international minutes or unlimited texts. This offer applies when you apply for your sim card and it is bought with a £10 top up.

More infoT-Mobile are also currently offering 500mb of internet per month on their pay as you go sim cards and will never charge you more than £1 a day for any other internet usage. Standard calls to other mobiles and landlines cost 20p per minute on the talk plan and 25p per minute on the text or international plan. Additionally texts cost 10p each on the text plan otherwise 12p each on the other pay as you go plans.
